Auria stayed in the NICU until she began to eat enough that she could have the NG tube removed. Then, finally on November 21 we got the news that she could leave the hospital on the 21st!!! So, finally on the 22nd we were able to leave the hospital!

| We were all so excited to finally be taking her with us!!! |
I know our stay was just a short time compared to most who have to spend that awful time in the NICU! I have gained a much greater appreciation for all the moms who have to spend so much time in that place. I will forever be grateful for the wonderful staff at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for taking such good care of our baby!
Because Auria was in the NICU, the ICPC between North Carolina and Utah wouldn't go through until she was released. So, we had some time to waste. We hung out at the hotel and visited the Raleigh North Carolina Temple.

The adoption agency was so good to make sure all our info was there, so as soon as we left, we cleared North Carolina. Then on Wednesday we cleared Utah!!! So on Thanksgiving morning, 1:00 AM Utah time, we got up and headed to the Airport!
| All dressed up, ready to leave for the airport!! |
Grandma and Grandpa Zemlicka were waiting for us at the airport.
Uncle Ry was waiting for us when we got to the house!!
Aunt Brittney met her a little later!
Then we showered and headed to Thanksgiving with Cody's family. Auria was welcomed right in to the family! It was a great day to bring her to our actual HOME!
